Beginner Rider Breakthrough

Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs in riding happen quietly. 🤍

In this lesson, the girls were learning how to post the trot — but at first, the movement simply was not clicking. Instead of pushing through frustration, we slowed everything down and focused on building confidence step by step.

By practicing two-point position, learning balance, and transitioning between positions, the riders gradually began to understand the rhythm naturally. A short time later, they were posting without even realizing they were doing it.

This video captures an authentic moment of growth, patience, and trust between horse and rider — something we believe matters far more than perfection.

Velvet’s calm and patient nature helped create the kind of learning environment where confidence could develop naturally, one small success at a time.

At Queen V & Co, we believe horses help teach leadership, resilience, patience, and confidence both in and out of the saddle.

Where horses teach kids to lead. 🤍
